And just like that, another outstanding NBA season has come to an end. This season has had many great NBA moments like the Los Angeles Lakers Winning the First NBA in-season tournament and many more. but Now, The Boston Celtics Have won their 18th NBA Title as They beat the Dallas Mavericks in 5 games. That is the most Championships out of any NBA Franchise. the Celtics have been the favorites to win the NBA Finals all season with stars like Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and many more outstanding players.
This was a well-deserved win for all the players and coaches. No one on the Celtics was "The Guy" as Every player played an important part on this team. They Rebuilt from the Beginning. The Celtics front office knew that they had to make some big moves in the 2022-2023 offseason after losing to the #8 Seed Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals. That off season they made some key moves like getting Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday.
The Celtics started off the first half of the year with a bang with a 43-12 record. Later they finished the season 64-18 making them the best team in the whole NBA and clinching the #1 Seed in the Eastern Conference.
The Celtics had to face their Playoff Whooping Boys known as the Miami Heat. But due to injuries, the Heat lost Their Best players Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler. This put a huge effect on the heat, as The Boston Celtics won the series beating the Defending Eastern Conference Champions in 5 games.
Then onto the Second Round they faced Donovan Mitchell and the #4 Seed Cleveland Cavaliers. Once again, the Cavaliers lose Donovan Mitchell in Game 3 due to a calf injury. then the Celtics moved on winning the Series 4-1.
In the Eastern Conference Final, they faced Tyrese Haliburton and the #6 Seed Indiana Pacers. then once again, (I Swear it's the last time) Haliburton was out for Game 4 due to an illness. the Celtics were the Eastern Conference Champions and Were Headed to the 2024 NBA Finals Sweeping Indiana 4-0 to head to the finals for the second time in three years. Jaylen Brown Got Conference Finals MVP.
Now in the NBA Finals they faced Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, and the #5 Seed Dallas Mavericks. In Game 1 the 7''2 Latvian Center Kristaps Porzingis was the key player to the Celtics 107-89 Win. Porzingis Scored 20 Points in his Return to the Lineup after his injury in round 1. Then the Celtics won the next 2 games, Leading the series 3-0 and Ready to Sweep Dallas. But then the Mavs Made one of the biggest blow outs in NBA Finals History Demolishing Boston 122-84. Luka Doncic Shot 29 Points and Kyrie Irving Shot 22 Points. The Mavericks won their first NBA Finals Game since 2011. But this was no big deal for the Celtics as they were still one win away from an NBA Title. In game 5 the Celtics were ready for their 18th banner in the rafters. Boston Played great defense, with their best Defensive players being Derrick White and Jrue Holiday. This was Definitely Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Browns best game together as they won their first NBA Finals and Scored a combined 52 Points. and now the Celtics have 18 NBA Titles. The Boston Celtics have one of the most successful Sports franchises.
